What to Expect

Before your session

After booking, you'll receive a confirmation with location details and any forms to fill out beforehand.

The intake asks about your history, current concerns, and what you're hoping to feel more of — as a starting point for our conversation.

If you have provider reports, imaging, or notes from other practitioners that feel relevant, you're welcome to bring them. Helpful, but not required.

When you arrive

We start by talking.

What brings you in. What your body has been navigating. What’s worked, and what hasn’t – and what’s felt overwhelming. What you’re hoping movement could feel like.

This isn't a diagnostic interview. It's a chance for me to understand your experience, and for you to get a feel for how I work.

During the session

From there, we move gently into exploration. Depending on what you're working with, this might include:

  • observing how your body organizes itself

  • testing what feels supportive versus effortful

  • introducing breath, awareness, or movement

  • exploring small adjustments together

There's no expectation to perform, push through discomfort, or "get it right." We move at a pace that allows you to notice what's happening — and to stop, ask questions, or adjust at any time.

After the session

We'll talk about what you noticed, what felt supportive, and what you might carry into daily life. If you'd like to schedule again, we’ll find a pace that fits.

There's no pressure to commit to a package or a long-term plan. Many clients come weekly; others come monthly or seasonally.

What this won't look like

Just as importantly —

You won't be told your posture is "wrong." You won't be pushed into ranges or shapes that feel unsafe. You won't be handed a generic exercise list. You won't be rushed, judged, or talked over. You won't be expected to know what you need.

This work begins with curiosity, not correction.
